Global Canopy, a non-profit organisation working to protect forests, nature and the communities that depend on them, invited Brazilian philosopher and environmental activist Ailton Krenak to Athens for a series of events, including a book presentation.

I was invited to create and prepare a dinner in his honour at TAVROS, an independent, non-profit contemporary art space in Athens. Guided by the principles of seasonality and sustainability, the menu celebrated local, seasonal ingredients and explored the relationship between food, ecology and our connection to the natural world.
